About Asher Homes, Ashland OR
In 1977 Steve Asher had a vision. That vision was to create customized homes in the Rogue Valley which would truly reflect the distinct qualities and personality of the individuals and families living in them. To design totally unique, highly individualized private residences, elegant estates, exclusive sanctuaries or luxury home communities that would afford home owners a secure and enjoyable environment in which to live. The vision was to provide customers with a solid value on their most important investment; their home.
After 25 years in business with well over 600 custom single family residences and attached residential townhomes under our belts, Asher Homes remains committed to that vision. Asher Homes is now one of Southern Oregon’s most recognized names in premiere custom home construction and development. We are extremely proud of the reputation we have built as well as the personalized environments we have created. Having been honored with the distinction of receiving the Jackson County “Builder of the Year Award” on several occasions over the past decade, Asher Homes has come to be recognized as the leader in innovative, affordable, tailor-made home designs with a successful history and proven track record in the home construction business.
Steve Asher’s continuing commitment to the homebuilding process is also evidenced by his dedication to the industry itself. He served as president of the Jackson County Home Builders Assoc. for an unprecedented 3 years in a row. His commitment did not stop at the local level, however, he continues to be extremely active on both the state and national levels as evidenced by his presidency of the Oregon Building Industry Association in 1999 and his currently held positions both as director on the National Association of Home Builders board and a trustee for the Foundation for Oregon’s Housing Future. |
